Dr. James Koshick, DDS

Dr. James Koshick’s favorite part of being a dentist is communicating with his patients and developing quality relationships with them. He also enjoys the satisfaction and reward of restoring smiles, both functionally and aesthetically. 

Dr. Koshick earned his BS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. In 2023, he obtained his DDS degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with academic high distinction.

Originally from southeast Wisconsin, Dr. Koshick found his way to northern Minnesota through his fiance Cara, who grew up in the area. He fell in love with Duluth and its surrounding areas while living in the region prior to going to dental school and is excited to once again call it home. Dr. Koshick enjoys spending his free time doing all things outdoors, such as fishing, hunting, hiking, trapping, cross-country and downhill skiing, and gardening. He frequently visits Lake Vermillion and enjoys spending time with Cara and their English Cocker Spaniel, Walter, on the water and in the woods.
